Job description
Contribute to delivery of analyses of medical claims, pharmacy claims, and eligibility data to identify performance trends and support decision-making: Prioritize and respond to analytical requests received from Customer Success by developing structured analyses, documenting findings, and communicating outputs and recommendations, contribute to process improvements to enhance data quality, operational efficiency, and consistency. Develop financial control-related product levers by establishing standardized methodologies, creating, and maintaining process documentation, and building SQL-based automations designed to scale consistently across the client portfolio. Assume responsibility for designated product features/levers by maintaining defined workflows, producing consistent and standardized outputs, and addressing analytical questions and operational concerns raised by Customer Success, while ensuring alignment with established product and operational standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations teams on ad-hoc, organization-level initiatives, including data quality improvements, development of internal and client-facing tools, and creation of targeted internal playbooks informed by historical client needs.
Position is 100% remote.
Travel to main office for all-hands meetings.
Education and Experience Requirements
Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or related field. Foreign equivalents accepted.
1 year experience (OR 3 years with Bachelors degree) in a related occupation working with healthcare data.
Special Skills Requirements
Position requires skills with the following which may be gained through experience or education in degree granting programs (including projects, papers, internships, practical training experiences or similar): - SQL-Based Querying and Transformation using Google BigQuery - Data Quality Validation using Google DataPlex and Tableau - Health Plan Contract Interpretation to Support Claims Pricing Reconciliation, Identification of Billing Discrepancies, and Integration of Contractual Terms with Claims Data for Client Reporting - R-Based Predictive Modeling for Members of Interest (MOI) Identification and Health Plan Cost Trend Analysis - Time Series Analysis of Healthcare Cost Data in R - Vendor Performance Analysis Including ROI Calculation, Utilization Tracking, and Missed Opportunity Assessment for Self-Insured Employer Health Plans - ETL Data Preparation and Transformation using KNIME and R - Opportunity sizing - Optimization and Scenario Modeling Using R, Excel.
