Job description
Teach Spanish and English literacy and Utah core to elementary school students in Spanish and English languages. Develop individual educational plan for each student; develop lesson plans; participate in professional development for dual immersion strategies; maintain student records; work with parents. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Education, Teaching, Spanish, or similar field, or foreign equivalent; Utah State teaching license or eligible to enroll in Utah alternative route to licensure process; native Spanish speaker or minimum Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) score of Advanced Mid in Spanish; proven ability to promote and facilitate active Spanish language learning environment.
