Business Manager Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers and Bookkeepers.
Serve as a primary contact for clients on accounting, financial reporting, payroll, investments, entities, and personal finances.
Build trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals, executives, entrepreneurs, and entertainers.
Attend client meetings and provide strategic guidance on financial and business matters.
Liaise with attorneys, agents, bankers, wealth managers, and other professional advisors.
Partner with the Tax team to ensure a seamless client experience.
Review financial statements, investment reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and analytical reports.
Advise clients on entity structuring, financial planning, and operational best practices.
Review and negotiate contracts, business agreements, and financial statements.
Lead special projects and manage complex client requests.
Deliver exceptional client service while proactively resolving issues and identifying solutions.
Train, mentor, and develop associates and new hires.
Ensure compliance with firm policies, internal controls, and risk management procedures.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Client development and referral generation are highly valued. Professionals who contribute to new business growth are eligible for additional bonus and incentive compensation.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5-7+ years of entertainment business management experience, including team leadership or department oversight.
Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or an equivalent field
Strong knowledge of business management accounting, financial reporting, and client advisory services.
Proficiency with AgilLink.
