Job description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and handle the accounting and day-to-day needs of entertainment, music, and high-net-worth individuals.
Oversee bookkeeper/assistant(s) handling accounts payable and receivables, journal entries, and general ledger tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, including knowledge of how to process them.
Manage and review payroll as the liaison for the outsourced payroll company, including onboarding and offboarding employees, and communicate with clients' staff.
Record brokerage/investment statements, including reviewing bank balances and statements, and authorizing transfers as needed.
Monitor and oversee the process of credit card transactions, payments, coding, and fraud alerts.
Supervise insurance renewals, claims, and deal with insurance brokers to ensure adequate coverage for the client.
Process and handle corporate year-end closeouts with the tax department.
Ensure timely compliance, such as processing annual 1099s and estimated payments.
Manage client correspondence and undertake additional projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business management, overseeing assistant(s)
Previous experience working with entertainers & HNWIs
Proficient with AgilLink
